BIO

Dr. Maniei has more than twenty years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. She has taught, supervised and trained many upcoming therapists in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Her areas of expertise are depression and anxiety. She received her doctorate degree from Indiana University. Later on she obtained a post-doc in Family/ System theories and another post-doc in Behavior Medicine. She has been continuously pursuing and learning about the latest treatment strategies and models so she could provide her patients with the best possible treatment.

As a part-time  instructor in psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School through her affiliation with Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), she provided supervision to fellows and interns in Behavioral medicine program in application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to different psychological problems. She is currently a Teaching Associate in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
